Osun State Magistrate Court, Osogbo has remanded a 29-year-old-man for murder and armed robbery.
The accused person who is identified as Segun Oluwalogbon was alleged of charges for conspiracy, murder and armed robbery.
The prosecutor, Mr. Mereti Wilson told the court that ” Segun Oluwalogbon and others who are now at large beheaded one Adedeji Awoyemi on the 7th of April 2016 at about 8:00pm at Tinumola Area in Osogbo”
“He also conspired with the others now at large to rob one Jimoh Najeem of his BAJAJ Boxer motorcycle with Reg. No: Osun GNN 570 QJ valued at N250,000”
“Segun committed an offence punishable under Section 324 and 319 (I) of the Criminal Code cap 34. Vol. II laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002 and section 1 (I) and 1 (2) (A) (B) of robbery and firearms (Special Provisions) act cap RII Vol.14 laws of federation of Nigeria, 2004”.
The magistrate, Mrs Sodamade Falilat did not take the plea of the accused, who ordered him to be remanded in Ilesha prison as the case was adjourned to 20th of March 2017 for mention.
