The Osogbo National Students’ Union, ONSU, has commended the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, for his support towards its Annual Educational Tour 2026.
In an appreciation memo signed by its President, Anifowose Sodiq, the union described Basiru’s gesture as a demonstration of his commitment to educational development and youth empowerment.
According to ONSU, the support contributed significantly to the successful execution of the tour and to its vision of raising enlightened, empowered and future-ready students.
“Your kind gesture reflects your commitment to educational development, youth empowerment, and the advancement of the student community,” the memo read.
The union, on behalf of its leadership and members, expressed profound gratitude to the APC National Secretary and prayed for sound health and greater accomplishments for him.
The ONSU Annual Educational Tour is part of the union’s initiative to broaden students’ knowledge beyond the classroom and prepare them for future challenges.
