President Bola Tinubu has appointed Governor Ademola Adeleke as the Osun State Coordinator of the PBAT Presidential Campaign Council.
Confirming the development, The Imole Campaign Council, TICC, in a statement signed by its Director General, Senator Olalere Oyewumi, on Tuesday, said the appointment is well deserved and demonstrates the confidence President Tinubu has in Governor Adeleke’s capacity to deliver Osun State in the forthcoming presidential election.
The statement reads in part, “The Imole Campaign Council welcomes the appointment of Governor Adeleke as State Coordinator of PBAT Presidential Campaign Council in Osun.
“The appointment is a well-deserved one. We assure the President that his confidence in the ability of Governor Adeleke to deliver Osun in the Presidential election will not be misplaced.”
The Council assured the President that the trust reposed in the governor would be justified, pledging unwavering commitment and a strong electoral showing in the January presidential polls.
“We promise the President, just like Governor Adeleke had said some time ago, that we will deliver 1.5 million votes to ensure his victory in the coming Presidential election,” the Council said.
