Governor Ademola Adeleke has felicitated the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday.
Governor Adeleke, in a statement by his spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, described the First Lady as a remarkable example of devotion to nation building and a symbol of excellence.
The Governor noted Senator Tinubu’s outstanding history of service and contributions to public good, praising her as a distinct voice in advocacy for inclusive governance and a visible hand in the quest to build a country that serves all.
He hailed the First Lady for the frontline roles she played in shaping legislations that empower women and expand opportunities for young people as a Senator and currently as the Mother of the Nation.
Governor Adeleke recalled with nostalgia the partnership he enjoyed with Senator Tinubu while in the Senate.
“I join family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate a symbol of excellence, the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on the joyous occasion of her 66th birthday. Senator Tinubu was a lawmaker par excellence, using legislation to address past failings and setting the pathway for a prosperous future for both the nation and its people,” Governor Adeleke was quoted as saying.
In a similar vein, the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the August 15, 2026 gubernatorial election, Mr Bola Oyebamiji, popularly called AMBO, has also felicitated Nigeria’s First Lady on the occasion of her birthday.
Oyebamiji in a statement he personally signed, extolled Senator Tinubu’s outstanding virtues and inestimable contributions to national socioeconomic progress, describing her as “a virtuous woman whose unassailable impacts to the advancement of public and privately sectors cannot be quantified in the history of the nation.”
He lauded Senator Tinubu’s socio-economic, political and democratic trajectory, saying she remained a blessing to mankind.
The former Osun Commissioner for Finance, hailed the celebrant’s indelible imprints as the ‘Mother of the Nation’, noting that her philanthropic gesture and generosity through her foundation had distinguished her as a seasoned politician, religious leader and public administrator par excellence.
“On behalf of my family and the good people of our great party in the state and beyond, I warmly felicitate and heartily rejoice with our mother, leader and the First Lady, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu on the occasion of her 66th birthday. Indeed, celebrating a rare gift on a day like this is to celebrate excellence in both public and private sectors.
“It is on record that our First Lady has been serving meritoriously, with the fear of God and compassion for humanity as manifested in her stellar performance and unflinching support for her spouse, the Father of the Nation, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Her Excellency, your immense contributions as a Lagos State First Lady and a three-term Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and currently Nigeria’s First Lady, cannot be quantified,” he added.
