The Senator representing Osun East, Francis Fadahunsi, and the lawmaker representing Ife Federal Constituency, Hon. Taofeek Ajilesoro, celebrated former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, on the occasion of his 69th birthday.
Senator Fadahunsi, in a congratulatory message on his Facebook page, described Omisore as his brother and a prominent party leader.
Fadahunsi wrote: “Please join me in celebrating my brother and a prominent leader of our party, the former Deputy Governor of our state, Senator Iyiola Omisore CON, on his 69th birthday.
“Otunba, may the years ahead be greater and better than the previous. May the Almighty grant you your heart’s desires. We celebrate you, Distinguished!”
In the same vein, Hon. Taofeeq Ajilesoro, in his tribute, lauded the celebrant’s wisdom, political strength and resilience.
Ajilesoro said: “Over the years, your wisdom, political strength, and deep resilience have proven that experience is the ultimate teacher.
“You have consistently stood as a political father, giving both moral and political support, guiding many of us through the ever-changing tides of governance and leadership.
“Your Excellency, ‘A tree is not celebrated merely for its height, but for the good fruit it bears’, Your contributions to Ile-Ife, Osun State and our nation remain a testament to a life dedicated to public service and the uplifting of others.
“As you mark another year today, I pray that God grants you renewed strength, divine health, and long life to witness even greater harvests from all that you have planted. May your light continue to shine, and may your wisdom remain a guiding lamp for us all.”
