A House of Assembly aspirant for Iwo State Constituency, under the All Progressives Congress, Mr. Diekola Ismail, has quit the party with his entire political structure.
Adefowope announced his resignation in a letter dated July 1, 2026, which surfaced on Wednesday.
He said the decision followed “wide consultations” and affects his supporters across Iwo Federal Constituency and other parts of Osun State.
“I hereby announce my immediate resignation from the party, together with my entire DIA Movement. I will urge my lovers and followers to cease any association with the APC from today onwards,” the letter read.
