Adeleke threatens revolution, says emergency rule won’t work in Osun

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has warned that the political killings in the state might lead to a revolution.

The governor also said a state of emergency would not work in Osun if the people decide to fight back.

The governor gave the warning on Wednesday during a condolence visit to the family of Ajayi Rogba, an Accord Party member killed in Esa-Oke on Tuesday.

osun.life reports that Rogba was allegedly shot dead by suspected thugs in front of his father’s house in Esa Oke.

“I am the one calming my people down. Enough is enough,” Adeleke said in a video circulating online.

He added, “If the revolution starts, nothing like a state of emergency in Osun. It would not work here.”
