Governor Ademola Adeleke has hailed the re-election of his Ekiti State counterpart, Abiodun Oyebanji, saying the decisive victory in the recently concluded governorship poll is an affirmation of confidence in his leadership.
In a statement signed by his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, the Governor described Oyebanji’s landslide win as a mark of acceptance for the incredible progress recorded in his first term.
“My congratulations to Governor Abiodun Oyebanji on his decisive victory in the recently concluded governorship election in Ekiti State. The victory is a mark of acceptance of his leadership and confidence in him to deliver more progress for the state,” Governor Adeleke noted.
He said the renewed mandate would give Oyebanji the much-needed time to continue the good works he started.
“On behalf of the Government and the good people of Osun State, I rejoice with my brother Governor and share the optimism of Ekiti people that his next term will be a continuation of the impactful services that marked his first term,” Adeleke said.
The Osun governor wished Oyebanji a successful tenure and prayed for God’s continued guidance and strength for him as he strives further to deliver the desired good governance for the people of Ekiti State.
