The All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate for Ayedire/Iwo/Ola-Oluwa Federal Constituency, Engr. Ademola Adedapo has mobilised party faithful and residents of Isale-Oba Ward 1, Iwo Local Government, for a grassroots tour in support of the party’s governorship candidate, Mr Bola Oyebamiji.
The ward-wide tour, according to a statement he personally signed, saw party leaders and supporters move from street to street and house to house to engage residents on the APC’s vision, achievements, and future plans ahead of the August 15 gubernatorial election in Osun State.
Speaking during the exercise, Adedapo said the tour was designed to take the campaign message directly to the people and strengthen the bond between the party and the electorate.
“We are not waiting for election day to meet our people. This tour is about listening to our residents, sharing the APC vision, and assuring them that Asiwaju AMBỌ will deliver good governance for Osun.
“This is grassroots politics. When you connect with the people directly, victory becomes natural. I am confident that the support we saw today will translate into votes for AMBỌ and for our party across Ayedire, Iwo and Ola-Oluwa,” he stated.
Leading the campaign was the Ward Chairman, Hon. Kamil Babatunde Asafa, who coordinated the outing.
“The charismatic and energetic leadership of Hon. Kamil Babatunde Asafa ensured a smooth and impactful outing,” Adedapo noted.
He added, “His organisational prowess brought out the youths, women, and stakeholders in their numbers. That turnout shows the strength and unity of APC at the grassroots.”
Residents who spoke during the house-to-house engagement expressed confidence in Oyebamiji’s leadership capacity and reaffirmed their support for the APC.
