A statement by the Senior Assistant Registrar (Corporate Service and Information Unit), Babatunde Fanowopo, noted that the review was aimed at enhancing staff welfare and motivation, improving retention, and strengthening the University’s capacity to attract highly qualified, world-class academics.

Reacting to the development, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Taiwo Olufemi Asaolu, FCA, commended the Governor for his sustained commitment to education and for prioritising the welfare of university staff.

He assured that the gesture would further inspire dedication to teaching, research, and community service in line with its vision of becoming a centre of academic excellence.
