Najeem Salam identifies with Osun APC chair over wife’s death

The candidate of the African Democratic Congress in the August 15 gubernatorial election in Osun State, Dr Najeem Salam, has condoled the chairman of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Mr Tajudeen Lawal over the death of his wife, Mrs Fatimah Lawal.

In a statement on Saturday, Salam, urged the deceased’s family to find strength, solace, and peace during the difficult time.

He also prayed to God to grant the deceased eternal rest in Aljanah Firdaus and to forgive her shortcomings.

The ADC gubernatorial candidate wrote, “On behalf of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) family, I extend my deepest condolences to Osun State APC Chairman, Tajudeen Lawal, on the passing of your beloved wife, Mrs Fatimah Lawal.

“This painful loss is not only personal but one that resonates with all who understand the value of family and companionship. In moments like this, we are reminded of our shared humanity beyond political affiliations.

“I, Najeem Folasayo Salaam, mourn with you and your family, and pray that Almighty Allah grants her eternal rest in Aljanah Firdaus, forgives her shortcomings, and comforts all those she left behind.

“May you find strength, solace, and peace during this difficult time. Please accept my sincere sympathies.”
