The spokesman for Governor Ademola Adeleke’s Re-election Campaign Council, Pelumi Olajengbesi, has said the African Democratic Congress might not have a strong showing in the August 15 gubernatorial election.
Olajengbesi stated this while appearing on Western Television programme in Osogbo recently.
According to the Accord Party chieftain, the ADC, which has the former speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Najeem Salam as its candidate, would not really be involved in the forthcoming election.
He said, “They can probably have some kind of impressive showing because the candidate is someone I respected a lot but I think they are just having some get-together and not really involved in this coming election.”
