The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Ajibola Basiru, on Sunday, hosted Osun APC gubernatorial Council at his residence in Osogbo.
The team was led by the campaign Director-General, Hon. Oluwole Oke.
According to a post on the APC scribe’s Facebook page, “The meeting provided an opportunity for key stakeholders within the party to deliberate on issues germane to the forthcoming gubernatorial election scheduled for August, with emphasis on coordination, grassroots mobilisation, and strengthening party structures across the constituency.
“Discussions were held in a productive and forward-looking atmosphere, reinforcing unity and shared commitment among party leaders towards ensuring electoral success and consolidating the progress of the party in the state.”
Some other members of the team include, the Pro Chancellor, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Ambassador Adejare Bello, former Osun State House of Assembly Speaker, Hon. Timothy Owoeye, former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Adebayo Adeleke and former lawmaker who represented Ifelodun state constituency, Hon. Mulikat Adeola.
Others are the lawmaker representing Iwo State constituency, Hon. Rabiu Atanda and the Osun East APC campaign coordinator, Prince Thomas Ogungbange.
