City Boy movement distributes food packages to Osun residents

The Osun State chapter of the City Boy Movement on Saturday, distributed Ramadan food packages to households across the state.

Speaking during the event held at the IleriOluwa campaign office, Osogbo, the Osun State Coordinator of the movement, Ajani Ayodeji, said the gesture was to cushion the impact of economic hardship during the holy month.

The beneficiaries were drawn from various groups within the informal sector, including members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, market women, health workers, pensioners, commercial motorcycle riders, hunters, widows and persons living with disabilities.

Ayodeji, said the gesture was a token of support and goodwill from Seyi Tinubu to Muslims observing the Ramadan fast.

According to him, the initiative was aimed at assisting vulnerable residents during the fasting period while promoting compassion and community support.

He also appealed to Nigerians to continue supporting the administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in order to enable the government achieve its development objectives.
