The Osun State Government has announced the temporary closure of all roads leading to the prominent Lameco Flyover in Osogbo.
According to a public announcement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Bashiru Bello, the road will be closed from 6: p.m on Tuesday.
The statement said the closure was necessary to facilitate the safe and efficient completion of all outstanding works that are required on the flyover structure.
“This important notice serves as an official statement to inform the general public, including residents and commuters alike, that all roads leading to the prominent Lameco Flyover will be closed temporarily starting at 6 PM today. This temporary closure is necessary to facilitate the safe and efficient completion of all outstanding works that are required on the flyover structure.
“In light of this event, motorists, cyclists, and all road users are strongly encouraged to take note and make use of all available alternative routes and diversions that have been put in place to minimise inconvenience and ensure smooth travel during the period of construction. Your cooperation in adhering to these directives is greatly appreciated, as it not only aids in the swift resolution of necessary improvements but also in maintaining traffic safety for everyone involved.”
