The firm that audited the payroll of the Osun civil service, Sally Tibbot Consulting has exonerated former governor Gboyega Oyetola from the alleged payroll fraud in the state.
osun.life reports that the firm has alleged an annual payroll fraud of N13.7 billion under the present administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
But the state governor through his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, denied the allegation, noting that if the firm found any fraud, it was committed during the past administration.
However, during an interview on TVC on Tuesday, the firm clarified that the audited payroll under scrutiny covers January to June 2023 and January to June 2024..
“The government’s claims that it was Oyetola’s payroll are not true,” the firm noted.
