The chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, has urged local government councillors to enhance their mobilisation efforts and support for the governorship candidate of the party, Mr Bola Oyebamiji.
Lawal made the call on Thursday, when the leadership of the APC hosted the local government councillors at the Tinubu-Shettima Campaign Office in Osogbo.
The APC chairman, charged the councillors from all constituencies of the state to leverage social media and other platforms to campaign aggressively for the party and ensure victory.
Lawal also appealed to the councillors to put aside disagreements and factionalism and focus instead, on the task ahead.
He urged them to stay laser-focused on the 2026 governorship campaign for the party and steer clear of anything that could divert their attention.
In his remarks, former speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Timothy Owoeye eulogized the councillors and charged them to make Oyebamiji’s victory their primary focus.
