Former Secretary to the Osun State Government, Moshood Adeoti, has joined the Accord party and declared his support for the second-term ambition of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
He announced his move on Tuesday while addressing his supporters across Osun State at a town hall meeting in Osogbo.
The gathering featured representatives from every polling unit and all 332 wards in Osun State.
Addressing the meeting, Adeoti stressed that the endorsement followed extensive consultations with his followers and stakeholders statewide.
He explained that the collective decision to support Governor Adeleke was driven by what he described as the visible transformation and developmental progress recorded in Osun over the past three years.
He noted that the current leadership in the state remains closely connected to the people, emphasising that those in government are home-based and live among the citizens they serve.
