The Chairman of the Osun State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Hon. Ibukun Fadipe, has declared his intention to contest the senatorial seat for Osun East.
The Peoples Democratic Congress chieftain announced his intention during the weekend in Ilesa.
In a video obtained by osun.life, the SUBEB boss said he decided to contest the senatorial seat after consultation with party leaders and stakeholders.
Fadipe, who was addressing his supporters in the video, said, “A lot of bigwigs in the senatorial district and Osun State have come to meet me and asked me to contest for the senatorial seat
“That is why I made some consultations within the senatorial district, and they told me it is a very good decision. I am here to tell you that I will be contesting for the Senator for Osun East.”
