The chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, on Thursday, led the state executive of the party on a condolence visit to the family of the late Owa of Igbajoland, Oba Adegboyega Famodun.
osun.life reports that Oba Famodun, who was the immediate past chairman of the APC in Osun State, died last Friday after a brief illness at the age of 67.
In a post on his official Facebook page, the APC chairman said the executive, during the visit, prayed for the family of the deceased and the community.
He wrote, “Today, I led the State Executive of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, on a condolence visit to the family of the late Oba Gboyega Famodun, the Owa of Igbajoland, who recently passed on.
“We pray that Almighty God, in His infinite mercy, be pleased with his noble soul and grant his family, the entire Igbajo land, and the APC family in Osun State the strength to bear this painful loss.”
