The chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, on Friday honoured the state APC Treasurer, Hon. Femi Kujembola as he was installed as the Baba Egbe Ijo of Ita-Apa-Ijesha Anglican Church.
Lawal was joined by other dignitaries including the state executive and a former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, at the programme.
In a statement posted on his Facebook page on Saturday, the APC chairman, described Kujembola as a man who has consistently shown dedication both to the church and the community.
He noted that the title conferred on the Osun APC Treasurer was a reminder of his humility, service and the love his people have for him.
He wrote, “Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining the Osun APC State Executive and other committed stakeholders of our party to honour our very own Osun State APC Treasurer, Hon. Femi Kujembola, as he was installed as the Baba Egbe Ijo of Ita-Apa-Ijesha Anglican Church.
“It was a beautiful and memorable ceremony filled with joy, prayers, and genuine appreciation for a man who has consistently shown dedication both to the church and to the community. Seeing Hon. Kujembola receive such a respected title reminded all of us of his humility, service, and the love his people have for him.
“We are truly proud of him. I pray that God strengthens him and grants him the wisdom to excel in this new role. May his light continue to shine brightly in the church and beyond.”
