The Senate on Tuesday approved the appointment of Gboyega Oladele as the Osun State commissioner for the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission, RMAFC.
Oladele was confirmed alongside five other nominees – Bello Wamakko from Sokoto, Hadizatu Mustapha from Borno, Sen. Marafa Abba from Taraba, Ahmed Hassan from Adamawa and Bob Inafa from Bayelsa.
Their confirmation came after the presentation and consideration of the report by the Senate Committee on National Planning and Economic Affairs during plenary.
Presenting the report, Chairman of the Committee, Sen. Yahaya Abdullahi, stated that the committee was convinced the nominees had the necessary qualifications and expertise for the job.
“We are convinced of their suitability,” he said.
