By Tunde Olamilekan

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State and former Commissioner for Works under the immediate past administration, Engr. Remi Omowaiye, has declared that the party in Osun remains united.

Omowaiye’s comment came amid the rumour of a crisis within the camp of some gubernatorial aspirants under the party.

A Facebook user, Adesola Solarboy, had posted that the gubernatorial ticket of the APC was almost settled for one of the aspirants until former deputy governor, Iyiola Omisore, joined the race, noting that the game has now changed completely.

But Omowaiye while commenting on the post, said nothing has changed within the party, urging members of the party not to focus on social media ranting.

He wrote, “Nothing has changed. Leave social media ranting. We, however, remain one big family in Osun APC”.

Omowaiye, a close confidant of the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, is the Executive Director of Projects Implementation at the Federal Housing Authority and also a major supporter of the aspiration of Bola Oyebamiji popularly known as AMBO.
