Motorcycle and tricycle operators in Osun state have pledged their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2026 governorship election, while praising President Bola Tinubu’s economic policy reforms under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The endorsement comes from five key associations: Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN), Motorcycle and Tricycle Operators Association of Nigeria (MOTOAN), Motorcycle Transport Union of Nigeria (MTUN), Autobike Owners Association of Nigeria (AOWAN), and Tricycle Owners Association of Nigeria (TOAN).
Speaking on behalf of the groups, ACOMORAN State Chairman Comrade Ismaila Tiamiyu expressed confidence in APC’s ability to reclaim Osun from Governor Ademola Adeleke’s administration.
He affirmed that members would actively mobilise to secure victory for the APC in the upcoming polls.
He lamented, “The current government through its anti-masses policies and vendetta motives proscribed many of the existing associations that cater for the needs of our people. The current government has successfully subjected our people to untold hardships on different occasions, as many of our members have been denigrated and neglected for no just cause.”

Oyetola appreciated the groups for their open declaration of support and solidarity and assured them of continued support in the daily discharge of their legitimate duties.
The Minister who was represented by ex-Information Commissioner, Chief Sunday Akere implored the leadership and members of the various groups to continue to maintain peace and also work assiduously to return APC to government next year.
