The trio of Prince Gboyega Famodun, Otunba Fatai Kolawole and Hon. Rotimi Makinde, chieftains of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, have congratulated Senator Babajide Omoworare over his recent appointment as National Assembly Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari.

The ruling All Progressives Congress leaders disclosed this in a separate congratulatory press statement sent to newsmen a copy which was made available to osun.life today in Osogbo, the state capital.

Prince Famodun said Senator Omoworare benefited from his undiluted loyalty to the All Progressives Congress considering the harassment he suffered in the 8th Senate led by the then Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki who made Omoworare a scapegoat on several occasions due to his constant loyalty for the ideal of the APC.

In his words, Famodun said, “it is not in the record of the APC where Senator Omoworare has ever gone against any decision of the party whether it favours him or not either in Lagos or Osun.

He charged Senator Omoworare to ensure that his new appointment is made a vehicle through which the lingering cordial relationship between the Federal Government and Osun State would be further cemented, consolidated and translated to life more abundance for the people of the state.

According to Otunba Fatai Kolawole, the Osun SUBEB Permanent Secretary described Omoworare’s appointment as a very deserving one being a legislator of great repute who has spent almost two decades in that area of legislative governance.

Kolawole expressed optimism that Omoworare will work to provide a more robust and very cordial relationship between the executive and legislature in this new dispensation which will ultimately create an enabling environment for President Muhammadu Buhari and APC to fulfill their pledges to Nigerians.

He recalled many instances when budgets were unnecessarily delayed by the last National Assembly due to the overzealousness of the leadership of the parliament who should be concerned with the need of Nigerians.

In his own congratulatory message, a former House of Representatives member for Ife Federal Constituency between year 2011-20115, Hon. Rotimi Makinde expressed happiness over the appointment of Ile-Ife born politician

He told the Senator that it wasn’t his destiny that gave him his new job rather it was his courage and desire to push his destiny forward.
