Mustafa emerges Osun FA Chairman

Otunba Isola Rasaq Mustafa popularly known as Ajiroba Ooni from Ile-Ife has emerged winner of the election as Chairman of the State of Osun Football Association.

The election which took place on Monday at NUT hall, Ring Road, Osogbo had stakeholders of sports across the state in attendance.

Otunba Mustapha had 28 votes to emerge winner over Prince Bamidele Ademola who had 8 votes while Engineer Suleiman Adio was voted as Vice Chairman unopposed with 31votes.

The Chairman-elect while speaking expressed his gratitude for the massive support and votes, he however promised to fulfill all he has said in his manifesto.

“I will get sponsorship for the state football development with my link with major global companies all over the world”.

He added that priority would be given to grassroots football by creating opportunities for kids to learn, compete and develop their talents and also create Osun Youth League for U-15 boys and girls.
