Senator Isiaka Adeleke has called for dialogue in finding solutions to whatever grievances that might be agitating the minds of the citizens.

He urged Nigerians to thank God for enabling them witness another Eid-El-Kabir celebration, despite the unsetting incidents across the county.

The former Osun State governor prayed to God to intervene in finding a lasting solution to killings of innocent souls under the guise of insurgency.

He spoke through a statement issued by his Special Adviser (Media and Publicity) Olumide Lawal, to commemorate the Eid-El-Kabir celebration.

He stressed that no matter the odds, “the unity of Nigeria is not negotiable”.

The APC chieftain advised the citizens to guard their loins and live within their legitimate means, adding that the economic downturn globally calls for sober reflection and sacrifice.

He appealed to the government and the governed to shun ostentatious lifestyle.

Saying that campaign, “Change starts with me”, is a step in the right direction, Adeleke said Nigerians should cooperate maximally with government at all levels and also proffer solutions to various ills plaguing the society, “rather than shifting blames here and there”.

“All hands should be on the plough to bring the country out of its present economic doldrums and set her on the march towards prosperity, instead of relying on non-existing foreign investors for one project or the other,” he said.

Adeleke advised politicians to see the electorate as their masters, “because it is through their votes that they rode to power”.

Abandoning the electorate, he said, would tantamount to sin against God.

The senator enjoined the Osun State government to make life more abundant to the people through landmark projects, by looking inward without hardship to the citizenry to generate more revenues and use such revenue prudently and transparently.

He advised Osun residents and indigenes to be law-abiding, steadfast and dedicated in their resolve to make the state a pride of all of us.
