The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State, Hon. Soji Adagunodo, has denied the rumours making the round that the State Secretariat of the party was under siege by men of the Nigerian Police Force.
The social media space was awash with rumours early today as to the purported siege of the Osun State secretariat of the party.

In a brief chat with osun.life, Adagunodo said he spoke with the Deputy Commissioner of Police, yesterday who said he has an intelligence report that the PDP will be embarking on a protest, “I told him we are not protesting, that we are jubilating because God has answered our prayers” he added.
According to him, on getting to the office this morning, he was baffled to see a police contingent who told him of acting on an intelligent report that the PDP was planning to stage a protest. The leader of the team said the police therefore came to ensure there was no breakdown of peace.
Adagunodo reiterated that the party is not protesting and that the police has not sealed off the PDP party secretariat. He concluded that the party will embark on widespread jubilation after the Supreme Court affirms their victory.
