Samson Unuanel was on Monday named the new coach of Osun United.
The technical crew of the team also named the final 29-man squad ahead of the 2018/2019 NNL season.
A statement signed by the club’s spokesman, Tunde Shamsudeen, said the new coach expressed confidence in the quality of players available for selection.
Shamsudeen added that the players would help Osun United achieve their dream of securing promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The statement read, “We have the support of the club president, the board members, the supporters and the good people of the state and I think this will be a season of happiness for Osun United.”
The recruited players include former Akwa United midfielder, Yusuf Adio, Gafar Olafimihan from Ikorodu United, as well as Best Demua and Mubarak Oye from ABS FC.
Others are, Adisa Olaniran from 3SC, Naheem Odugbemi from Fehinty FC, Andrew Kabgat from Luma Hassan FC, Anderson Okekem from Nnewi United FC and the duo Tolulope Oluwole and Adeyemi Julius from Rising Stars.
