Osun State chapter of the City Boy Movement has said the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Bola Oyebamiji, stands a better chance of winning the August 15 governorship election in the state.
The movement said Oyebamiji is capable, competent, popular and acceptable to the people.
The state Director of the movement, Engineer Kayode Sowade stated these in Ile-Ife when he led members on a courtesy visit to the Palace of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi on Monday.
Sowade also affirmed that the ongoing massive mobilisation of youths for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027 would give him the clearest electoral victory in the history of Nigeria.
According to him, youths are the most beneficiaries of the reform programmes of President Tinubu, saying they stand to gain more benefits in the area of agriculture, education and human development among others, when Tinubu is re-elected.
“This formidable Movement is about bridging the gap between the government and the masses particularly Nigerian youths. We have come to the palace of Ooni of Ife, to receive royal blessings. We are resolute to mobilise the electorate particularly the youths to vote massively for the governorship candidate of our party in Osun and re-election of President Tinubu.
“We are confident that 2027 is already won because no President has matched what President Tinubu has done in the last two years across sectors particularly in infrastructure, health, education, commerce and industry”.
