The former lawmaker who represented Ife Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Rotimi Makinde, has hinted at his intention to return to the National Assembly.
Makinde who disclosed this on Saturday in Lagos, pledged a renewed commitment to the development of his constituency and the well-being of its people.
He said his decision to seek another term was driven by what he described as an unfinished mission to consolidate on projects and policies initiated during his earlier term in the legislature.
The Ile-Ife-born politician said his past achievements were proof of his capacity to deliver good dividends to his people.
He said, “My track record speaks for itself. I have consistently delivered on my promises, and my commitment to the Progressive family is unwavering. I have worked tirelessly to improve the lives of our constituents, and I am ready to take it to the next level.
“I initiated the modern city gate project, pushed for the establishment of the Yakooyo hospital, and ensured the Aluti Erin hospital project was underway. These projects will transform our community, and I am committed to seeing them through.”
