IPAC postpones Osun council election

The National leadership of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), has postponed indefinitely, the election to elect new officials for the Osun State chapter of the council.

The election was originally scheduled to hold at 10: a.m. on Saturday, March 14 at the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission in Osogbo.

In a statement announcing the postponement, IPAC National Organisation Secretary, Chinyere O Kalu, said a new date would be communicated.

She, however, did not state the reason for postponing the election.

“This is to formally inform all stakeholders that the Osun State IPAC Election previously scheduled to hold on 14th of March has been postponed.

“The new date for the for the election will be communicated soon.

“We regret any any inconvenience this development may cause and also appreciate your understanding and continued cooperation,” the statement noted.
