Residents of Modakeke in Ife East Local Government Area have appealed to the Osun State government to come to their aid over the deplorable condition of Akarabata Primary Health Centre.
The residents said the facility which served majority of the people in the town was on the verge of total collapse.
A video posted on Facebook by Inside Modakeke, showed the facility building with cracked walls, fallen roofing sheets, broken floors, damaged doors, and windows.
A resident who spoke in the video, said that the facility has been in ruin for over 7 years, calling on the state government to come to the community’s aid.
She lamented that the sad situation of the health centre has forced members of the community to travel a long way for medical attention.
