The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Ajibola Basiru, has thrown a jab at the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, suggesting that the governor is staying in his sister’s house instead of the government house.
Basiru who spoke last Saturday at the grand reception of five federal lawmakers who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party into the APC in Osun, said he heard that the governor was staying with his sister because he doesn’t understand governance very well and needs tutoring.
The APC scribe also questioned the governor on the huge allocation coming into the state from the federal government, noting that there is nothing tangible to show for it.
He said, “The huge amount of money coming from the federal government to the states is unprecedented. Last month, both the federal and state governments shared a total of N1.9 trillion. Ask Governor Ademola Adeleke who is in Oke-Fia, what he is doing with that money.
“I even heard he is living in his sister’s house in Ede and not staying in Oke.
“I learnt he is staying with his sister because he doesn’t understand things very well and he needed someone who would be putting him through.”
