The chairman of Boripe Local Government elected in the October 15, 2022, local government election, Mr Sikiru Odebunmi, has announced an increase in the salary of casual workers.
A statement by the media unit, office of the local government chairman, stated that the salary of the casual workers comprising O’Clean Marshal, O’Clean Technical, Mantanity Securities, and others was increased to N25,000 from N10,000, effective from January.
The move, according to the statement, aimed to improve welfare and boost productivity.
The chairman pledged more support, urging workers to remain committed, with leadership working to improve conditions.
