The lawmaker said the Federal Government has sustained its efforts to rid all parts of the country of violent crimes, predicting that the war against, especially insurgency, would be won with the support of all stakeholders.
According to him, the menace of insecurity has affected the country’s capacity to produce food for the rest of the populace, adding that he chose to make the food item available as part of a measure to limit the negative impacts of the menace of insecurity on his constituents.
“I assure Nigerians that the menace of insecurity will soon become a thing of the past. That will happen owing to the ongoing efforts of the military and other security agencies.
“While expecting victory over the perpetrators of violent crimes in the country, there is a need for government at all levels to intensify efforts on humanitarian support with a view to mitigating pervasive economic plights of the downtrodden, caused by food insecurity,” Fadahunsi said.
