FIFA has named Osun State-born female referee Oluwatosin Omotoye among the 30 Nigerian officials on its International Referees List for 2026.
Omotoye, alongside the others, have been cleared to officiate in international competitions under the world governing body and the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The talented referee from the State made history as the first female FIFA central referee from the State.
The annual list includes referees and assistant referees authorised to handle matches across men’s and women’s football, as well as futsal and beach soccer.
