A gubernatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has said his objective is to restore credible governance and rebuild public institutions if elected in the August 08, 2026, election.
Oyebamiji stated this on Thursday, shortly after he appeared before the Governorship Screening Committee at the National Headquarters of the party in Abuja.
The former Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority said the exercise was transparent and in line with the APC’s unwavering commitment to strengthening internal democracy.
He noted that the party through the screening, is determined to present a competent, experienced and development-focused candidate for the election.
Oyebamiji said, “Earlier today, I had the privilege of appearing before the Governorship Screening Committee of our great party, the All Progressives Congress, at the National Secretariat in Abuja.
“The exercise was thorough, transparent and in line with the APC’s unwavering commitment to strengthening internal democracy and upholding the highest standards in leadership selection.
“The rigorous process towards the emergence of our flagbearer for Osun 2026 clearly demonstrates the party’s determination to present a competent, experienced and development-focused candidate to the people of Osun State.
“At every stage, our central objective has been consistent to restore credibility to governance, rebuild public institutions and chart a future that reflects the true potential of our state.
“I remain sincerely grateful to the leaders of our party, the AMBO Movement, stakeholders, volunteers and all supporters who continue to stand firmly with this aspiration.
