The Osun State office of the Public Complaints Commission says it received 768 complaints from residents between January and September.

This was announced in a statement by PCC’s director of investigation, Mewase Ayodele, on Wednesday in Osogbo.

Ayodele said 446 out of the 768 complaints received were successfully resolved.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, Ayodele also stated that under the watch of the commission’s federal commissioner in the state, Aremo Alao, ₦4.2 million was recovered from various complaints at no cost.

Ayodele said the commission was created and empowered to entertain complaints from the general public.

According to him, the complaints include administrative injustice, non-issuance of results by examination bodies, and delay in payment of gratuity or land compensation, among others.

“For free, quick, and impartial arbitration of complaints against maladministration and social injustice, members of the public can visit any of the PCC offices nearest to them,” he said.
