Osun Assembly Transmits Four Bills To Gov Adeleke For Assent

The Osun State House of Assembly, at its resumed sitting on Tuesday, transmitted four key Bills to Governor Ademola Adeleke for assent.

The Bills include the Osun State Sports Commission Establishment Bill 2025, the Osun State Start-up Bill 2025, the Osun State Compulsory Treatment and Care for Victims of Gunshots Bill 2025, and the Osun State Communal Crisis Management and Peace Building Bill 2025.

Reports on the Bills were presented by the Chairman, House Committee on Innovation, Science, Technology and Digital Economy, Adewumi Adeyemi, and the Chairman, House Committee on Youths, Sports and Special Needs, Abiola Awoyeye.

The Speaker of the House, Adewale Egbedun, said, “Having scaled the third reading, these Bills are now ready to be forwarded to His Excellency, Senator Ademola Adeleke, for executive assent.”

Egbedun had earlier welcomed lawmakers back from recess, praising their promptness and responsiveness to state issues even during the break.

He described their dedication ”as a reflection of their commitment to the advancement of Osun State.”
