JUSUN National President to dialogue with Osun Judiciary over strike

The Osun State chairman of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, Adedayo Adeniran, has disclosed that the National President of the union, Marwan Adamu, has indicated a willingness to engage in dialogue with the judiciary management in the state over the ongoing industrial action.

Adeniran made this known in a statement issued on Monday after the union’s monthly congress in Osogbo.

It would be recalled that the union embarked on strike on September 19, 2025, to demand timely 2024 and 2025 promotions as well as improved welfare for its members.

The Osun JUSUN chairman noted that Adamu also expressed openness to meeting and discussing the pressing issues affecting its members.

Adeniran added that the JUSUN president noted that resolving the strike depends on whether the judiciary management in the state was genuinely committed to finding a resolution to the impasse.

The statement reads, “The National President of JUSUN has extended an olive branch, indicating a willingness to engage in dialogue with the Judiciary management.

“He has expressed openness to meeting and discussing the pressing issues affecting our members, provided that the management is genuinely committed to finding a resolution.”
