Osun State chapter of the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has accused the state’s Chief Judge, Justice Oyebola Adepele, of disregard for the welfare of judiciary staff and the public.
The union condemned what it described as Justice Ojo’s indifference towards the ongoing strike action by judicial workers.
The union, in a statement issued by its Chairman, Comrade Idris Adeniran, on Monday, alleged that Justice Ojo left the state on the day it began the ongoing strike and had not engaged the union’s leadership since then.
“The Congress vehemently condemns the Honorable Chief Judge’s egregious display of indifference to the ongoing JUSUN strike.
“Her lordship’s abrupt departure from the state on the strike’s commencement day, coupled with her persistent absence and failure to engage with JUSUN leadership, underscores her apparent disregard for judiciary staff welfare,” the statement read.
