Suspected thugs on Wednesday reportedly attacked the All Progressives Congress APC Ward 1 Councilor, Hon Taiwo Kazeem, and another member of the party, Oladimeji Olamilekan at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Ikiriun, Ifelodun Local Government.
The thugs, allegedly led by one Hassan Abdulhai, reportedly attacked Kazeem when the councillor called for orderliness from registrants participating in biometric capturing in the ongoing continuous voters registration at the INEC office in Ikiriun.
The thugs were alleged to have matcheted Kazeem Taiwo and Olamilekan on the head.
According to the report, the intervention of crowd at the INEC office rescued the victims from the hoodlums.
