2027: We will deliver Osun for Tinubu – Fadahunsi

By Michael Adeyemo

The Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, has declared his full commitment to ensuring President Bola Ahmed Tinubu secures a resounding victory in the upcoming 2027 presidential election.

Fadahunsi, who is the chairman of the Senate Committee on Industry, had earlier in the month cited irreconcilable differences and unresolved legal crises when he resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The lawmaker in a letter addressed to the Ward 4 Chairman of the PDP in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State, said his decision was reached after wide consultations with his political associates, family, and friends.

However, the Osun East Senator joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on the 23rd of July during a plenary presided over by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.

Speaking with our correspondent in a recent telephone conversation, the seasoned legislator assured party faithful and community leaders of his unwavering support for the President and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Senator Fadahunsi, widely respected for his grassroots mobilization capacity, emphasized the need for continuity and consolidation of the progress achieved under President Tinubu’s leadership.

He noted that the President’s policies on economic revitalization, restructuring, and massive infrastructural development have laid the groundwork for long-term national prosperity.

“President Bola Tinubu has shown exceptional leadership, vision, and courage in steering Nigeria through complex challenges. As the Senator representing Osun East Senatorial District, I promise to work tirelessly to deliver our state to the APC in 2027. Our people recognize results, and President Tinubu is delivering,” Senator Fadahunsi declared.

The Senator also revealed plans to intensify grassroots engagements across all local government areas in Osun State. He pledged to rally traditional rulers, youth groups, market women, and religious leaders to build a unified front for the APC.

Senator Fadahunsi further called on all party stakeholders to put aside differences and embrace unity of purpose saying “Osun will not be left behind. We are ready to stand firmly behind President Tinubu, and with our collective effort, we will triumph in 2027,” he added.
