Osun won’t regret returning APC to power — Oyintiloye

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Hon. Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, has expressed confidence that residents of the state will not regret voting the APC back into power, citing a comprehensive development blueprint laid down by the previous administration.

Speaking during a consultation visit by APC governorship aspirant, Hon. Bola Oyebamiji, to Obokun Local Government Area, Oyintiloye said the APC had documented a needs-based strategy to ensure any incoming administration under the party would hit the ground running.

Oyintiloye, who served as Special Adviser on Civic Engagement under former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, noted that the development plan was the outcome of extensive community consultations and reflects the real aspirations of the people across Osun State.

“The blueprint was carefully put together towards the end of the Oyetola administration to provide a strong foundation for continuity in governance. Our next governor will begin with clear direction, supported by this document and other people-focused initiatives,” he said.

In his remarks, Hon. Bola Oyebamiji reiterated his commitment to the needs of Osun citizens, saying he would revisit the community-driven assessment documents and ensure their full implementation if elected.

He also pledged to reactivate the Office of Civic Engagement to facilitate consistent and direct engagement between the government and the people.

Oyebamiji, who currently serves as Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), promised to prioritize the welfare of civil servants, artisans, and other key segments of the population.

Expressing optimism about the APC’s prospects in the forthcoming election, Oyebamiji called on residents of Obokun and across the state to support his ambition, assuring them of responsive and inclusive leadership.
