Owoeye, the immediate past speaker, in his remarks, said the committee is a follow-up to the efforts and recommendations of the Prof Isaac Adewole-led repositioning committee.

He said “we express gratitude to our leaders, Baba Bisi Akande, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, the chairman of the Osun APC, other executives, and stakeholders of our great party in Osun for the confidence reposed in us to serve our party at this time.”

“We are studying the carefully highlighted terms of reference of the guideline committee and with strong dedication, commitment and diligent hardwork, I have no iota of doubt in my mind that our efforts will lead to a more structured, disciplined, and result-driven APC in Osun State.”

“The cohesion within the party is also necessary for us to strengthen the South-West as a support base for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Being an opposition at this time means we have to do more in propagating the gospel and the achievements of the president.” He concluded.
