Dignitaries to storm Osun for Pa Zechariah Owoeye’s burial

Several dignitaries are to storm the State of Osun next weekend for the burial of Pa Zechariah Akinniyi Owoeye who died recently at the age of 98 years.

The family in a statement made available to osun.life disclosed that the burial rites will begin with a commendation service on Wednesday, 7th April at Owoeye’s Compound, Osogbo.

The lying in state and wake keep will hold on Thursday, 8th April at Owoeye’s Compound, Ilahun Ijesha.

Owoeye’s burial service and internment will hold at his Ilahun Ijesha compound followed by a thanksgiving service at the Aposolic Church, Ilahun Ijesha.

The event which will climax same day with the celebration of life at Ilahun Grammar School playground, is not only going to attract heavy presence of Government officials at different levels but also hosts of clergy men, community leaders and top musicians who are billed to perform during the four day programme scheduled to celebrate the life and death of late Prince Zechariah Owoeye,

Pa Owoeye, a devout christian and community leader is survived by children, amongst who are Lawrence Tomilayo Owoeye, Eunice ‘Funke Olakanmi, Hon Ebenezer Kolawole, Mr. Wole Owoeye, and several grandchildren.
