A woman was flogged by policemen in Iwo amid the coronavirus lockdown in Osun State, The PUNCH reports.
According to a video posted on Instablog9ja on Saturday afternoon, two police officers were seen lashing the woman with whips.
The woman, whose name was yet-to-be-identified, was said to have received the ill-treatment because she sat in front of her residential apartment.
One of the officers identified as Sergeant Iku Esan had reportedly asked the said woman why she sat in front of her residence and the woman had replied, “Is there anything bad in staying in front of my house?”
Esan was said to have flogged the woman for her response as more policemen joined him in the beating.
