A Chief Magistrate’s Court sitting in Osogbo has pardoned four accused persons who were arraigned before the court for violating the lockdown order of the State government.
Moshood Akinwale, Male, aged 28, Oladimeji Sodiq, Male, aged 24, Dauda Abdullahi, Male, aged 22 and Adewale Taofeek, Male, aged 28 who were arraigned today by the Osun State Police Command, pleaded guilty before the Magistrate.
The accused persons however explained that they were going to their polling unit to collect their share of the State Government palliatives when they were arrested by men of the police force.
Magistrate Dr. O.A Ayilara in his ruling, cautioned them thoroughly and discharged them saying “I will be lenient, as it’s obvious you all were only looking for what to eat.”
