The Governor of Osun State, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, has today signed the Osun Security Network Agency (Amotekun) bill into law.
Present at the event was the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, the Deputy Governor, Mr Gboyega Alabi among others.
The State of Osun House of Assembly had on plenary of March 3, passed the Amotekun bill into law.
The bill became necessary following increased killings of farmers, banditry, highway robbery and kidnapping in the South West region.
